ABOUT PETER G
Originally from Long Island, New York Peter discovered the power of music through his Greek roots singing in church and mimicking the traditional music his father played at home highlighting the intricate riffs and unexpected shifts in tempo common in the music of Greece. Learning this music and the folk dances of his heritage was how he realized and appreciated the potential of cultural representation through art and performance whether exhibiting his Spartan lineage or as a gay man.
While still a Junior in College, he got recruited to join Bowzer’s Rock N’ Roll Party in Atlantic City, a 2 hour bus ride from Philadelphia to do shows over the weekends at The Tropicana Hotel and Casino. The show became one of the longest running, 1.5 years in Atlantic City History and versions of it got picked up for Dick Clark’s “ROCKin’ EVE” ABC-TV Specials 2 years in a row which I both danced and sang on.
Since then, he has sung and danced in shows both On and Off-Broadway including as Mr. Mistoffelees in “CATS”, National Theater Tours of other shows, as well as background vocals for other artists and celebrities in Las Vegas, Concert Halls, Theaters, Clubs, Festivals and cruises nationally and internationally encompassing 22 countries.
At different times throughout his career, made easier by the constant rejection in the world of music, Peter opted to put his singing and his love for entertaining on a back burner to focus on serving and supporting the aspirations of others via his company which he is enormously proud of.
Peter lives by the motto: “Fear Kills More Dreams, than failure ever will.”
Peter G’s debut single “Together We’re Free”, produced by Velvet Code, is now out on all streaming platforms worldwide.
