ABOUT BABY BEL BEL
Baby Bel Bel, the reigning Miss Crews and Tangos, is known as Toronto’s Fun Loving Pop Culture Drag Queen known for her high energy, bright coloured wigs, costumes and comedic performances.
Baby Bel Bel started her full-time Drag career shortly after winning Crews & Tangos Drag Race in 2015. She is best known for her love of cosplay and Lady Gaga. If there is a new Lady Gaga Music Video or a new Marvel Superhero Film – Baby Bel Bel is always the First Queen to have the complete look done, head to toe.
Her performance background started with musical theatre and film as she studied theatre at York University and Graduated from The Randolph Academy of Performing Arts.
You can usually find her performing weekly at Crews & Tangos, Woody’s and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, a few of her favourite performance spaces. In June 2019 She was crowned Miss Crews & Tangos and still currently holds the title until future notice.
She currently stars as Babs in the CBC GEM Original show Queens which launched in June 2020. Baby Bel Bel is also the co-creator and producer of the Toronto Drag Group -The Spice Queens ( Impersonation Drag Group.) They have traveled across Ontario with their 2 hour fully choreographed production and have also performed at The Rogers Centre (Skydome) & Headlined Pride Toronto’s Drag Ball 2019 in Dundas Square.
